Osstem Implant’s OneGuide Marks 10th Anniversary, Strengthening Its Competitiveness in Digital Dentistry

SEOUL, South Korea: Osstem Implant invests heavily in research and development to strengthen its technological competitiveness, particularly in digitally driven dental implant therapy. One of its key digital solutions is OneGuide. Introduced in 2016, the digital implant guide system supports virtual implant planning and surgical guide fabrication based on patient CT data, helping clinicians perform implant procedures with greater accuracy and efficiency.

Osstem Implant is accelerating its global expansion through continuous investment in research and development (R&D) in the field of digital dentistry. The company invests approximately 11% of its annual revenue in R&D to strengthen its technological competitiveness, with a particular focus on advancing software-based technologies and platform development. Based on these efforts, Osstem has established a digital workflow that seamlessly integrates digital equipment and software, including intraoral scanners, CT systems, milling machines, and 3D printers, while expanding its presence in global markets.

One of its flagship digital solutions is OneGuide, a digital guided implant surgery system. Introduced in 2016, OneGuide supports virtual implant planning and surgical guide fabrication based on patient CT data, helping clinicians perform implant procedures with greater accuracy and efficiency.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, OneGuide has accumulated more than 360,000 clinical cases worldwide and is currently available in 32 countries. Supported by dedicated surgical kits designed for a wide range of clinical indications—including edentulous cases, sinus procedures, and narrow ridge conditions—the system continues to expand its adoption across global clinical settings.

In addition, OneGuide enhances procedural convenience by enabling implant placement with an average of only three drilling steps, while allowing clinicians to adjust the protocol from two to four drilling steps depending on bone quality. Designed to provide stable drilling performance and efficient cutting capability, the system helps reduce procedure time while supporting predictable implant placement and improved surgical efficiency in various clinical environments.

Furthermore, Osstem Implant is accelerating the development of a comprehensive digital workflow centered around OneGuide, connecting every stage of the dental treatment process. By integrating solutions such as OneClick, its electronic charting and diagnostic platform; OneMS, its virtual implant planning software; and OneJet, its high-precision 3D printer, the company is enhancing the efficiency and completeness of a digital treatment process spanning diagnosis through final surgery.

Osstem Implant is also rapidly expanding its global education infrastructure. The company currently operates digital education programs through 32 overseas subsidiaries and conducts OneGuide-based seminars and training programs in approximately 50 countries, including distributor markets. Through customized educational offerings such as Master Courses, short-term seminars, and one-day courses, digital education programs are being actively delivered not only in North America and Europe but also across the CIS region and Asian markets, including India and Bangladesh.

In particular, Osstem continues to strengthen live surgery observation programs and hands-on digital guided surgery training while expanding its online educational content through OSSTEM TV. Through these efforts, the company aims to further increase the adoption of digital solutions in clinical practice worldwide.

“Based on the digital guided surgery experience and R&D capabilities accumulated over the past decade, we will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the field of digital dentistry,” an Osstem Implant representative said. “By integrating software and hardware into a comprehensive solution, we aim to further improve clinical efficiency and treatment convenience.”
